Response training for mass-shooting events is becoming the new normal for most establishments around the country, especially for schools. Earlier this week at their main campus, the University of Alaska Fairbanks held what they call an "active killing event" training open to staff, teachers, students, and the community. The Kuskokwim University Campus in Bethel was able to attend via live broadcast.
