Alaska State Troopers have reported that a man who went missing in Kongiganak last week has been found. Megan Peters, a spokeswoman for the Alaska State Troopers, says that Alexie Phillip was found alive and "safe and sound."

Phillip was found Tuesday night, June 13, five days after he was reported missing. Phillip went missing on June 6, but no one reported his disappearance until three days later. Tribal police and search and rescue began looking for the man last weekend, but were unable to locate him in that timeframe. The Alaska State Troopers did not have any additional information.
