The Nunapitchuk Police Department has confirmed that Bennett Joseph is back home, safe and sound.
The 29-year-old was reported missing last Thursday, after he left his mother’s home at night and didn’t come back. His snowmachine was later found on a trail a few miles outside of Bethel.
Joseph is now back at home with his mother in Nunapitchuk. Our reporting on this story is ongoing.
